Home Skilled Nursing
SKILLED NURSING SERVICES AT HOME
To ensure quality Home Nursing Care, Home Health Services of Florida has a quality control protocol; this is as follows:
- Upon receiving orders from a Primary Care Physician (PCP) or Hospital Doctor who is authorized to order home health services, a Registered Nurse is deployed to the patient’s home for an Initial Evaluation.
- On the first visit the Registered Nurse will examine and document the patient’s physical and mental condition, and reports back to the patient’s doctor to establish a Plan of Care (POC) with goal-driven treatment strategy.
- Once a Plan of Care is accorded with the physician treatment begins, and every home visit is documented and reported back to the Director of Nursing
- Once per week or 7 visits the Director of Nursing does an inspection on the work completed by the home visiting nurse. Home Health Services of Florida’s skilled nursing team works 7 days a week to enhance the patient’s lifestyle and avoid unnecessary visits to a doctor or relapses to the Emergency Room.

Home Aide Services
To ensure quality Home Aide Care, Home Health Services of Florida has a quality control protocol; this is as follows:
- After the home visiting nurse finishes an initial evaluation, he or she will suggest or agree with the referring doctor or care manager the frequency of which the Home Health Aide or Caregiver services the patient or member.
- A Home Health Aide or Caregiver is deployed to assist the patient with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). These activities include personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, etc.
- Upon completing assisting the patient’s daily needs the Aide reports back to the agency the work done for that day, the patient’s mood status and visual health status.
Home Health Services of Florida’s trained and certified team of aides and caregivers works 7 days a week to enhance the patient’s lifestyle and avoid unnecessary visits to a doctor or the Emergency Room.
Our aide services consist of:
- Hourly care
- Respite care
- Companionship
- Light house work
- Medication reminders
- Light meal preparation
- Errands & transportation to appointments
- Personal care- bathing/dressing and hygiene
Physiotherapies At Home
To ensure quality Home Physiotherapies, Home Health Services of Florida has a quality control protocol; this is as follows:
- Upon receiving orders from a Primary Care Physician (PCP) or Hospital Doctor who is authorized to order home health services, a Registered Nurse and a Licensed Therapist is dispatched to the patient’s home for an Initial Evaluation.
- On the first visit the Registered Nurse will examine and document the patient’s health condition, and the Licensed Therapist examines the patient’s physical mobility, the findings are reported back to the patient’s doctor to establish a Plan of Care (POC) with goal-driven physical rehabilitation strategy.
- Once a Plan of Care is accorded with the patient’s physician, a licensed therapist is dispatched to apply treatment as needed, and every home therapy visit is documented and reported back to the Director of Nursing.
- Once per week or 7 visits the Director of Nursing does an inspection on the work completed by the home visiting nurse. Home Health Services of Florida’s licensed Physical, Occupational and Respiratory team works Monday – Saturday during normal business hours to enhance the patient’s lifestyle and rehabilitate the patient’s physical mobility.
